Dorothy's Search Through Oz

Chautauqua Playhouse invites actors of all ages to audition for Dorothy's Search Through Oz, a family-friendly adventure inspired by the world of Oz.
Audition Dates: September 7 and 8, 5:30–7:00 p.m.
Location: Chautauqua Playhouse, 5325 Engle Road, Carmichael
Who May Audition: Open to all ages; casting requires 7–10 actors, and some performers may play more than one role.
What to Prepare: Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script.
Rehearsals: Begin September 21 and run Monday through Thursday, 5:30–7:00 p.m.
Performances: 1:00 p.m. on October 24, October 31, and November 7.
In this new Oz adventure, Dorothy returns to discover that things have taken a surprising turn. When Toto mysteriously disappears, she follows the purple pebble road to Sapphire City, meeting familiar friends including the Scarecrow, the Tinman, and the Lion along the way.
