Synopsis: A millionaire offers $10,000 to five people who agree to be locked in a large, spooky, rented house overnight with him and his wife.

Cast of Characters

• Watson Pritchard — Late 50's. A timid, moody man given to consoling himself for his many failures. A bit of a drunk.
• Frederick Loren — Late 40's. Handsome and distinguished, with humorous eyes. The millionaire who invited everyone to the party. Married to Annabelle Loren.
• Lance Schroeder — 20–30's. A rugged test pilot with an imperturbable quality.
• Ruth Bridgers — Middle 30's. A handsome, tailored journalist with a newspaper column.
• Doctor David Trent — Early 40's. An intelligent, somewhat arrogant psychiatrist.
• Nora Manning — Early 20's. Young and pretty with a shy, sensitive expression hiding an outgoing personality.
• Annabelle Loren — 25–40's. Beautiful and cunning. The 4th wife of Frederick Loren.
• Mrs. Slydes — Old blind caretaker of the house, with her husband.
• Jonas Slydes — Old caretaker of the house, with his wife.
