Chautauqua Playhouse is producing an ALL FEMALE, fully staged concert version of 1776, and we'd love your help in uniting the ideals of the past with the opportunities of the present!
But musicals are expensive - over twice the cost of a regular play -
$2480 - Royalties
$1150 - Vocal & Script Rentals
$1550 - Music Backing Tracks (for rehearsals & performances)
(Plus set construction, marketing, & space rental)
So we are kindly asking for assistance of our friends & communities. Our humble request is to achieve a goal of $2000.   But do not worry - if we don't achieve our goal, we are committed, no matter what! And if we are ever so fortunate as to raise above our goal, all extra moneys will go towards the production, and the operating costs of Chautauqua itself. AND - your donation may be tax-deductable to the extent allowed by IRS regulations - you know those taxes were a pretty big deal back then!
Won't you join the ladies of today as we bring this spectacular story to life, and embrace the timeless principles of liberty & freedom?!
Perks: All the following donation amounts will get their name in the program:
$5 - $25 Happy Colonist - and happy to rebel!
$26 - $50 Colonial Select(wo)man - You help run your township!
$51 - $75 Founding Parent!
$76 - $99 Member of Continental Congress - Vote on Independency!
$100 "Will someone shut that man up?!" YOU will get to yell out this   iconic line to John Adams at the beginning of the show!

Abigail and John discussk the campaign!
